With Bond 25 on the horizon (2019) would you pony up for a game based on that?

No, but I'd buy another singleplayer shooter with an original story like Nightfire in a heartbeat

I want nothing more than a new bond game. I donít really know where to go with it. Basing it off of the new movie is the obvious choice but I wouldnít mind an original story. Also a VR mode like RE7 would be appreciated.

No I just wish Nintendo had allowed Microsoft to publish the remake.

You think it would be on the cards again now would be a massive system seller for the switch.

Depends on who picks up the rights to make one.

Activision last had the rights, but let them expire in 2013 after Blood Stone sold poorly and 007 Legends was an all-around trash fire. Soooo if it's them again: that's a no.

A true remake of Goldeneye is the one I'd want. We could even find that it revived the difficulty and objectives correlation that Rare gave us. That'd be nice.

I.... Yea.

Loved the GameCube games so I'd be down, but Daniel Craig is a minus for me and I wouldn't pay more than $30.

Day one for a decent Kingsman game.

Eeverything or Nothing and Goldeneye 007 Reloaded were both excellent games. But yeah Activision really don't care all that much for the brand.

I would even love remakes of the EA Bond games from the early 00s (Nightfire, Rogue Agent, etc.)

I don't think it's anything to do with the IP it's to do with how good the game is.

If itís along the veins of the original Perfect Dark (tons of options, vehicles, bots and modes like co-op and counter-op and not busy like the madness that is CoD) in a heartbeat.

^Truth.

I honestly don't know why the film's writers went down this whole Bond navel-gazing route with the films after CR. It wasn't necessary and the retconning in Spectre to make Bond's travails seemingly all part of Blofields daddy issues was straight out of Austin Powers 3.

Personally, I'd love to see an actual espionage game (Bond IP or otherwise). Something akin to a cross between Hitman/Alpha Protocol in a true open world environment but with a lot more emphasis on interaction, exploration, subterfuge and much less on gunplay and hordes of bad guys to mow down.

I'd be interested in a Bond game with an excellent plot line done in the style of "Uncharted." Don't really want a another 1st person Bond game.

I would give it a shot if it was good. But I wonder what direction they would go with it. Uncharted style with a focus on narrative and big set pieces would be cool. But Watch dogs 2 style with creative gadget use would also be fun and could fit the Bond theme very well.

Yeah, but I'd want focus on gadgets and espionage. Maybe a few stealth missions, car chases with scripted sequences (a la Uncharted 4 car chase), parkour sections (like the beginning of Casino Royale), a one-on-one henchman boss where you have to use the environment to cause damage to a brute-like Jaws guy, worldwide and exotic locations.

There should be a few grandiose action sequences along the game, like the train fight in Skyfall and the Dia de los Muertos scene in Spectre and it should be an original story and not based on an existing movie/book.

I'm a huge Bond fan and would love to play a big budget Bond game.

Also, I'd love a 007 game where all incarnations of the character are honored. Where you could play Connery's Bond in one act and Moore's Bond in another and so forth, each act reflecting that Bond's era and spirit.

In my opinion the money needed to pay for a Bond licensed on a game wouldn't be worth it. I've stopped watching the movies and I don't even know what a modern Bond game should be like. That kind of defeats the purpose of the branding.

Yes. I played the SHIT out of Goldeneye 2010 on Wii even though it had its major shortcomings. 007 Legends was trash. And then nothing for 5 years. Bond deserves another great game. I'd buy anything that seemed remotely compelling.

I just realised that game exists and it's 007 Legends. Oh well, I never played it but it seems the game didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to be.

Finishing up the XBLA remake of Goldeneye would be amazing. Microsoft of today could take a different approach at negotiating its release.

A new game in the style of Agent Under Fire, Nightfire, or Everything or Nothing would be pretty cool. From Russia With Love is pretty good, but it did make one of the most grounded stories in the franchise and turned it into a scifi fantasy.

Hell, even Goldeneye 2010 was pretty good. I'm not sure why the decision was made to stop after that. I guess name recognition was enough for Activision, not the reception to gameplay.

All of the other games were decent but largely forgettable. But really, there are some other good ideas in this thread. Uncharted-style? Sandbox-style? A legacy celebration of all Bonds and the history of the movies? All great ideas. Even a telltale series would be nice at this point.

Iíd love another Bond game. Goldeneye and Nightfire are fantastic games both singleplayer and multiplayer. They are so much fun and are some of my favorite party games. I would love a Bond game if itís in the style of those 2 games.

I disagree with those asking to have it like Uncharted. The series has its own signature gameplay and we have enough Uncharted clones anyways.

Iíd love to buy a Naughty Dog one. Uncharted is the closest we have right now anyway (cinematic chases, exotic locales, dangerous women).

Plus, 3rd person Everything or Nothing was probably the most Bond-like game ever (as much as I love Goldeneye, Bond never really goes through a place murdering dozens and dozens of henchmen)

I never bought a Bond game in the first place. I think the brand is a bit corny.
Some of the movies are definitely fun, but I like grittier video games - unless the Bond girls look exceptional in them.
