I'm annoyed by the "awful name great show!" comparisons to Cougar Town and Terriers for the title by critics and whatnot. Aside from not letting titles define anything, 'Crazy' is actually fully indicative of the character unlike those shows which shared nothing in common with their premises.

I was content "I'm So Good at Yoga" but then "Feelin' Kinda Naughty" holy shit. Ed Gein would approve.

I have a feeling this show might hit too close to home with a large portion of the CW's audience of shippers.

Sepinwall needs to give it up. He always does this -- he fixates on these small, insignificant things and obsesses.

I'm enjoying it. Just watched the second episode and I found some moments hilarious. Grocery store and yoga studio in particular had me laughing out loud. The bras in isle 2 was a nice touch. Hope more people watch it going forward.

Yup. it's really unbearable and petty that a TV critic cares so much about that shit, when the quality of a show should come first in just about every way instead of these (nonexistent) chains a premise or title allegedly hold a show down, or the way a casual viewer or demographic is going to react.

I'll never get over his bullshit Enlightened reviews. "she's bad at her job!" "who is this show for?"

I have seen a bunch of fans on a TV forum say the name turned them off and it was only good reviews that got them to watch the pilot, so....

But that's precisely why it needs to not bog down reviews because it just feeds into a tainted discussion of the show. If something as trivial as a title is going to dominate your enjoyment of something, it says more about you than it does about the show.

This episode was hilarious, but I think it hit a little close to home with this "befriend the rival" theme. This is what feminist tell us and we feel bad thinking any ill thoughts of other women. Afterall, we should always support each other in a glorious quest to the Empowerment. Anything else and we're playing into harmful stereotypes. If only human beings were so simple...

I was in similar situation myself and it ended throwing me into deep depression in the end. I was crushing on one guy heavily and I sorta happened to meet a friend of his. I knew that she liked him and she knew that I did too. But because it seemed at that time that he wasn't interested in either of us, we should totally bond over our unrequited feelings. My friends thought it was a terrible idea, but I was so sure that even if that guy picked either one of us, we could still remain friends. Yeah... not so much. Everything went well if a little awkward at times until the situation resolved itself when they started dating. The worst part is? I couldn't force myself to hate or blame anyone else but myself for this disaster, as they were both nice people. Despite everyone's attempts to handle the situation gracefully and without major drama - I ended up with a broken heart I totally hadn't foreseen. I had to break any contacts I had with them and mutual acquaintances and it wrecked my life at that time. Moral of the story? Sometimes keeping "enemies" closer can backfire on us.

I think Rebecca's denial is her most relatable trait. She has that feminist ideas about herself: she's supposed to be content and fulfilled just being a successful business women, she don't need no men to make her happy, she can totally be friends with the girlfriend of the guy she's infatuated with... But when her perception of herself doesn't match the reality, she deludes herself and spirals even further. She needs therapy, stat, but at the same time her misadventures are hilarious, if a little cringe-worthy sometimes.

I think you just need to accept that this is not the all time masterpiece that something like The Leftovers is.

Only the truly best for Mr. Sepinwall.

I'll never understand how you could look at all the wonderful television that aired last year and decide Leftovers was the best.

If only critics had a license that could be revoked.

While I think there's a place for this show somewhere, it's way too good/niche for network television. Even the CW.

Super tangential, but this somehow strikes me as the mirror image of Showtime putting up, say, the House of Lies improv special with bleeped words on Youtube and running the unbleeped one on the channel itself.

I actually think that "I cum vaginally" is funnier in the context, but yeah, I agree that the censored version just flows a little better as a whole.

The song is seriously beautiful and sung so perfectly! Its advice also sounds very sound... I think. Flying off the building (but only when it's not on fire - in that case you've gotta take a deep breath and stay there, ofc) is probably a good way to face your fears too. Gotta try it out sometime.

Watched this show by chance, and knowing absolutely nothing about it. So the first musical number caught me by surprise, but I rolled with it and fell in love. I think I've watched both episodes three or four times now.

It's really hard to not click those links and watch the songs from the next episode, but I actually prefer seeing how they fit into the flow of the story.

I'm not sure what part of "Feeling Kinda Naughty" video is my favorite, it's pretty much down to the "cook your spit into a chowder, dry your sweat into a powder" lyric or the randomness of her dressed like Liberace for that lyric.
